The initial construction of the Saint-Symphorien church in Fondettes dates back to the 12th century. The present appearance is the result of the modifications made in the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. The building is composed of a nave of three bays closed to the East by a choir and an apse and has two chapels.

In 862, King Charles the Bald established an act at the request of the community of Saint-Martin de Tours listing his possessions. Among them is Restiniacus (Restigné). There must have been a church and chapels on this site. Possession is confirmed in 903 and in 916 by Charles the Simple. In 1177, Pope Alexander III confirmed in a bubble the property of St. Martin de Tours.
The church Notre-Dame de Rochecorbon emerges in the middle of a well maintained green space. Its chancel offers an elegant ogival vault dating from the 12th century. The church has a pretty richly carved portal.
With its popularity and the increasing number of spectators, La Pléiade is an institution in La Riche. It represents above all a rich and varied programming that wants to be accessible to all, big or small, passionate or novices, to all cultures.
